100% Painless

yum update

That's it – these two magic words were entirely sufficient to upgrade my configuration management server from CentOS 5.3 to the recently released CentOS 5.4. No broken dependencies, no snafu with the system's configuration files. Damn, if all upgrades were that painless, I'd really become bored and lose the respect of all those who no longer would suffer from epic upgrade fails
